Copper lexicon

Copper is a chemical element (Latin > Cuprum, or Cu for short) that is known as a reddish, shining metal and appears mainly in the form of ore, copper pyrites and copper glance. Due to its excellent conductivity of electricity and heat, it is mainly used for electrical articles such as wires and coils, as well as heat transmitters.

If you want to learn more about the oldest of all mineral resources, we recommend that you contact our service partner, the German Copper Institute [Deutschen Kupferinstitut] (www.kupferinstitut.de).
