MKM delivers a wide range of copper bars and profiles to demanding customers in the electrotechnical industry.
In the last ten years we have developed into one of the leading European suppliers of copper bars and profiles. During this period we were able to make use of decades of experience from contacts with our customers, responding specifically to individual wishes and guaranteeing top-quality products.
Our copper bars and profiles, whether extruded or extruded and drawn, are used primarily as conductor rails in the switchgear industry or in energy distribution systems.
Further applications are made in the manufacture of contact materials or in the electrical plant and machinery construction industry.
For special applications in the vacuum technology sector we supply oxygen-free copper bars of high purity.

Quality
Our quality management system has been audited and certified by Lloyd's Register of Quality Assurance in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001:2000.
Our test laboratories are equipped to conduct all necessary chemical, mechanical and electrical tests. Special tests, such as determination of carbon residues, HNO3 tests, metallography tests, micro-probes and scanning electron microscopy tests, are conducted in the central quality management division.
A special CAQ software package allows test values to be transferred directly into the desired inspection certificates. This allows us to manufacture high-quality copper bars and profiles in keeping with the valid International standards, or according to special customer requirements.
